Our Christmas lights came on at approximately 4pm on Sunday 1st December 2019.

The scene on High Ash Drive

At least 70 local residents with children and friends came along to be present as the Sun went down and the festive lights came on automatically for the first time. Afterwards those attending were invited into Wigton Moor United Reformed Church where the congregation generously provided mulled wine and mince pies. Afterwards some carols were sung.

The gathering was addressed by Councillor Doug Masterton (Vice Chair of Harewood Parish Council) who introduced the Councillors representing Wigton Moor and wished those attending a very Happy Christmas.
