Harewood Parish Council

The civil parish of Harewood is located on the northern boundary of the City of Leeds. The majority of residents live in the residential suburb of Wigton Moor at the edge of the conurbation. The parish also comprises the village of Harewood, known widely through its historic links with Harewood House, together with outlying farms and the hamlets of Wike and Weardley. The northern boundary of the parish is the River Wharfe.

Meetings of Harewood Council are held regularly about once every five or six weeks. The venues are Wigton Moor United Reformed Church and Harewood Village Hall. Face to Face Council meetings have resumed following the lifting of Covid-19 restrictions. Details of meetings are posted on notice boards situated in Harewood village, Wike, High Ash shop, at the Slaid Hill shops at the eastern end of Wigton Lane and also on this web site.
