Bridleway Diversion: Farfield Farm

Do you walk, ride or cycle on the footpaths and bridleways in our area? Harewood Parish Council has been consulted on a proposal to divert the bridleway that currently runs from the riverside path, through Farfield Farm, to the Collingham road (A659). We would like to represent the views of the local community in our response to this consultation. The proposal and plans are below. If you use this route or have any feedback for us on this proposal, either no objection or an objection comment, please email me: chair@harewoodparishcouncil.gov.uk by 5:00pm on Thursday 10 March 2022. Look forward to hearing from you.

Community Care Volunteers – Covid-19

Harewood Parish Council is very conscious of the many offers of help that are being offered to local elderly and vulnerable people to help them cope with the present situation. We would wish to encourage this and thank those offering their time to help those who are in difficulty at this present time. There are however some risks and it is important that those needing help are not exposed to anyone who might seek to exploit an opportunity to meet concerned people in their homes.

Our local Leeds Councillors have advised us of a scheme which all those seeking to volunteer should use in order to become involved and serve those in need in our community.

Please follow the link Community Care Volunteers to see details on how to join the dedicated volunteer network.
