Annual Parish Meeting - Harewood Parish Council - Correction and an apology

In the recent newsletter, the time of the Annual Parish Meeting was advertised at 7:30 pm. The correct time is 7:00 pm and we apologise for this mistake. Our Annual Parish Meeting is followed immediately by the Annual Parish Council meeting which is the first 'ordinary meeting of the Council where officers are elected. This meeting will begin at around 7:30 pm or afterwards when the Annual Parish Meeting has concluded. This is also a meeting where members of the public are welcome to observe proceedings. The corrected invitation for the Annual Parish Meeting is shown below.

You are cordially invited to the Annual Parish Meeting which will be held on Thursday 12th May at the United Reform Church, High Ash Drive, Wigton Moor at 7:00 pm. https://www.wigtonmoorchurch.co.uk/contact-us-church-leeds

This meeting provides constituents with the opportunity to hear about the work and achievements of Harewood Parish Council during the past year. It is the chance for you to ask questions and make suggestions about priorities for the forthcoming year.

Also included is the annual report from the police for our area.

Please do come along. You can find the formal agenda at 2022 Annual Parish Meeting

It is with sadness that we also have to report the recent sudden death of Councillor Dr Carol Hughes who was an enthusiastic and committed supporter of many community projects in North Leeds. Her contribution to our Council will be greatly missed.
