What travel and safety issues do you face in your local area?
Now’s your chance to have your say! Leeds City Council want to hear from residents in Alwoodley, Harewood, and Wetherby on any issues related to travel in your community.
This could be about how you access public transport facilities, whether you feel unsafe walking, wheeling or cycling, the attractiveness of a street, or where traffic and speeding are causing issues. Share your travel concerns in Alwoodley, Harewood, Wetherby. Your input will play a crucial role in steering future improvements for transportation - be it by car, bus, bike, or on foot! .
The consultation is live until Sunday 2nd March 2025 and it’s easy to have your say – drop a pin on the maps where you’re experiencing issues and fill in the survey. This will help prioritise improvements, when funding becomes available.
The five main themes are –
- Vehicles and parking
- Walking and wheeling (including accessibility, prams, wheelchairs and scooters)
- Cycling
- Accessing bus stops and rail stations
- The street environment
The data from these consultations will help us prioritise improvements when funding becomes available, in line with the Leeds Transport Strategy targets.
